The New Palace, Stuttgart

The New Palace, Stuttgart: this former seat of dukes and kings in centuries past still dominates the cityscape today. The majestic building was commissioned by Duke Carl Eugen and replaced the Old Palace as the official ducal residence. Thus, the significance of the Old Palace waned and yet it still forms, connected by the Palace Square, a historical unit with the New Palace. Both were almost completely devastated in the 20th century by fire and bomb attacks. Today, they shine again in renewed splendour. The Old Palace now houses the Landesmuseum Württemberg. The Baden-Württemberg State Ministries of Finance and Economy, Labour and Housing are based in the New Palace.
The Weisse Saal (White Hall) can be hired for events. Many of the other restored rooms are reserved for official government events. A visit with a guided tour will transport your seminar attendees back to a bygone era and its astonishingly elaborate architecture. Spirit your employees away from the everyday grind and ensure that your event leaves behind memories to savour.
